Oregon Car Shows, Swap Meets & Races – March 6 – 12

Hi,

Well, it’s still raining pretty much every day here in Northern California. I am sure anxious for some sunshine and for our Car Show season to begin.

I sure appreciated all the emails I received this past week with information on upcoming events. It is a huge help! If you are aware of any 2023 event dates, especially Cruise-Ins and Cars and Coffee events, please email any information to me at tim@oregoncarculture.com or you can enter it here: “Add Events”.

I was hoping to make it to the Salem Roadster Show this past weekend, but maybe next year? My new friend Jim Wylder shared a few photos that he took. It looks like they had a lot of fun!

Here are a few of the events taking place this coming weekend:

March 10 – Stayton: The Covered Bridge Cafe Cars and Coffee is every Friday morning at 8am at Covered Bridge Cafe, 510 N. 3rd Avenue.

March 11 – Astoria: The Lower Columbia Classics Annual Swap Meet is Saturday from 8am to 2pm at Clatsop County Fair & Expo, 92937 Walluski Loop.

If you are aware of any 2023 event dates, please email any information to me at tim@OregonCarCulture.com or enter them here: Add Events.

Here are some cool photos of a 1955 Powell truck that belongs to Miles Chappell of Eagle Point. I saw one for the first time last July in Alturas, CA. Miles is an expert on these very rare and cool trucks.
