Cruise the Gorge

The 31st Annual Cruise the Gorge Car Show Weekend is Saturday at Sorosis Park, 300 East Scenic Drive.

Kicking off with the “Neon Cruise” Friday evening, downtown The Dalles. It’s an “open” cruise, just like back in the day, so just show up and start showing off (NO burnouts however). It starts around 7pm and extends well into the night. This is the favorite part of the weekend for many of the locals, and the sidewalks up and down 2nd and 3rd streets fill up with appreciative and enthusiastic spectators. Several downtown businesses will be having special events during the cruise. You can also pre-register for the Saturday show at Burgerville on 3rd St. between 4 and 7 pm.

Then Saturday brings the “Show in the Shade” on the grass in beautiful SOROSIS PARK, 300E Scenic Dr. Registration opens at 10am, judging until 2pm, and the Parade of Champions awards ceremony beginning at 3pm. Goodie bags and dash plaques to the 1st 250 vehicles. $20 entry up to July 31, $25 after. 40+ awards, food and specialty vendors, oldies music and plenty of raffle prizes.

Then Saturday evening features the Eagles/Elks Cruise Nite from 5 to 7pm at the lodge, 2006 W 7th, The Dalles.

Finally, if you want one more chance to trophy, there’s the Dufur Classic Car Show, on Sunday in the Dufur Community Park, just 13 miles South of The Dalles, starting at 9am.

Oregon’s NU Main Event

Oregon’s NU Main Event is Saturday at 9am at the Medford Dragstrip, 6900 Kershaw Road in Central Point.

 

Welcome! Oregon needed a premier custom vehicle show, and we are here to fill the need! Come to the Medford dragstrip Saturday May 25th, 2024 and see for yourself!
We’re all Minitruckers here, but the show is open to custom vehicles of all types! Lifted, lowered, get ready to cruise and have a great time!
In the evening, the dragstrip will be open to battle with your buddies! Vehicles have to pass tech.
This is a one day event, but camping is available at the venue Friday night and Saturday night. DRY CAMPING ONLY, so please plan accordingly. Camping is age restricted to 18 and Older for the weekend, except Saturday from 10am to 5pm when the show is open to the public.
NO PETS, GUNS or GLASS of any sort !!!

Winter Rod and Speed Show

The Winter Rod and Speed Show and Winter Swap Meet is Friday and Saturday at the Linn County Expo Center, 3700 Knox Butte Road.

The Winter Rod and Speed Show located in Albany, Oregon at the Linn County Expo Center returns January 19-20 2024. Over 100 cars, including hot rods, muscle cars, bikes, low riders, custom trucks and race cars from all over the Northwest gather for a show they will be talking about for months! From the best to a couple of the worst, the Winter Rod and Speed Show has something for everyone!

Rat Rod Rukkus

The Rat Rod Rukkus Car Show and Swap Meet is Saturday from 8am to 4pm at the Pottsville Historical Museum, 2400 Pleasant Valley Road.

Rat Rod Rukkus is in full swing and gearing up for the best show ever! Our theme this year is Bonny and Clyde with the moon shine runners!
There will be more vendors than ever, expanded swap meet, great food and of corse our favorite music-
Jett Harris and his Hell Cats!
This is a Rain, Smoke or Shine event!!
